Zeppelin Hall and Art @Night are teaming up for their second art exhibit showcasing the work of Joe Sulsenti. (There will also be a movie screening of Sulsenti’s animations at 9:30pm). Looking for a new place to eat this weekend? Taqueria Downtown owners Andrea and Phil Barraza are opening their latest Mexican restaurant in Newport today. Los Cuernos will offer an upscale take on Mexican eats and drinks. It’ll be the duo’s largest restaurant and will feature a daily happy hour from 4pm to 6pm. Dig through the vinyl bins at Iris Records one last time as the shop celebrates its last weekend in Jersey City. There will be live DJs, refreshments, and of course — new vinyl available for purchase.

Where: 54 Journal Square Plaza
Get a behind the scenes look at Jersey City’s famous Loew’s Theatre. You’ll tour the grand lobby, visit the backstage, walk through the parlors, and get an exclusive look at the theater’s projector room. The tour is put together by New York Adventure Club with a Loew’s volunteer as your guide. Admission costs $32/pp.

Halftime Bar & Grill is hosting a fundraiser for local food pantry The Sharing Place. Admission is $30/pp and includes dinner and a drink. Dinner will be catered by Hamilton Inn, Hamilton Pork, Venti, and Carmen Rosa Bakery. All money raised will benefit The Sharing Place.
