Pride Jersey CityJersey City’s biggest summer party is back — JC Pride Fest 2024 kicks off on Saturday morning. Enjoy drag brunches, Pride marches, and the 23rd JC Pride festival, which will take place all-day Saturday.

Zeppelin Hall is celebrating South American “barrel grilling” with a special menu of smoky meats and veggies. The specials have been extended through September 1.

The Berry Lane Park Concert Series is a free event that takes place every Thursday evening through August 22. This Thursday, Lil’ Maceo (funk/pop/jazz) will perform.

Twisted Martini can most closely be described as manouche jazz meets pop folk. Admission is $10/pp.

What: 23rd Annual Jersey City Pride Festival
When: Saturday, August 24 from 1pm to 9pm
Where: Pedestrian Plaza (Grove to Jersey Avenue)
The Jersey City Pride Festival is a celebration of love and diversity. Celebrating its 23rd anniversary, the festival will be located along the Pedestrian Plaza (between Grove and Jersey Avenue). There will also be an Equality Pride March from City Hall to the parade’s main stage on Newark and Jersey Avenue (at 1pm). After-parties at various bars and restaurants will run through the night at The Pint, Six26, and more. (You can see all the events here).

What: Organ Monk at Fox & Crow
When: Saturday, August 24 from 8pm to 10pm
Where: 594 Palisade Avenue
Gregory Lewis has found a musical home delving into the Hammond organ and the music of the great composer/pianist Thelonious Monk. His new recording Organ Monk Going Home brings all of these aspects to bear. Admission is $10/pp.

What: Sofar Sounds x Stork Club Rooftop
When: Saturday, August 24 from 7m to 10pm
Where: 2 Chapel Avenue
The Stork Club is a rooftop bar located at Hudson House (above Felina Steak). Today, the rooftop bar is hosting an intimate live music performance. Each Sofar is small and typically features three diverse acts, with no headliner. The event is open to non-members ($75/pp) and members ($60/pp).
