The Exchange Place Alliance is hosting another night of Movies on the Pier. This Friday you’ll be able to catch a free screening of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. The movie starts at sunset (around 7:30pm). Food and drink will be available for purchase.

Dominican restaurant La Bodega is teaming up with Piken Food Culture for a guided “Sauce & Spices” tasting showcasing Mama Juana Hot Sauce, Queen Majesty, La Parchita, The Spicy Shark, and more.

What: 22nd Annual Jersey City Pride Festival
When: Saturday, August 26 from 1pm to 9pm
Where: Pedestrian Plaza (Grove to Jersey Avenue)
The Jersey City Pride Festival is a celebration of love and diversity. Celebrating its 22nd anniversary, the festival will be located along the Pedestrian Plaza (between Grove and Jersey Avenue). There will also be an Equality Pride March from City Hall to the parade’s main stage on Newark and Jersey Avenue (at 1pm). After-parties at various bars and restaurants will run through the night at The Pint, Six26, and more. (You can see all the events here).

Jersey City band Forget the Whale will play at Fox & Crow tonight. The band plays a mix of blues, rock, alternative, R&B, country, funk, and nu-metal. Admission is $10/pp.

What: Rooftop Yoga + Mimosas at The Stork Club

The Stork Club is a new members-only rooftop bar located at Hudson House (above Felina Steak). Today, the rooftop bar is hosting an outdoor yoga class led by Urban Souls (with mimosas post class). The event is open to non-members ($30/pp) and members ($24/pp).
