Where: J. Owen Grundy Park
The Exchange Place Alliance is hosting the final night of Movies on the Pier for the summer. This Friday you’ll be able to catch a free screening of Charlie & the Chocolate Factory. The movie starts at sunset (around 7:30pm). Food and drink will be available for purchase.

Where: Harborside Plaza & Hudson Street (behind Smorgasbar)
Smorgasburg is back at Harborside for another season of eats. The outdoor market will offer food from numerous vendors including Cake Jars, Carlitos Barbecue Taqueria, and more. The market will operate every Saturday. Admission is free and there will be various outdoor dining options throughout Harborside JC.

What: 21st Annual Jersey City Pride Festival

Where: Pedestrian Plaza (Grove to Jersey Avenue)
The Jersey City Pride Festival is a celebration of love and diversity. Celebrating its 21st anniversary, the festival will be located along the Pedestrian Plaza (between Grove and Jersey Avenue). There will also be an Equality Pride March from City Hall to the parade’s main stage on Newark and Jersey Avenue (at 1pm). After-parties at various bars and restaurants will run through the night at The Pint, Six26, and more. (You can see all the events here).

The Pint’s annual Pride Party kicks off at 1pm today dishing out 16-oz Pridetails in the wee hours of the morning.

The McGinley Square Live Music Series returns this weekend with a free, outdoor performance by Carlos Pavan. The free concerts will take place the last Saturday of every month through September and on Saturday, October 29.

Where: Modera Lofts Rooftop at 350 Warren
Boutique wine shop CoolVines is throwing a Summer Rooftop Party at Modera Lofts. Enjoy live music, an art exhibit, and plenty of good wine/beer. Admission is $35/pp or $40 at the door. Note: Tokens for food and beverages are $8 at the event or buy them now and get 3 for $20. All proceeds from the event and the art auction will got to ArtWallJC, which helps support the arts in Jersey City.

Houston Person will perform live tonight alongside the Matt Chertkoff Trio. Doors open at 6pm and the music starts at 7pm and 8:30pm. A suggested donation of $25 is appreciated. All music donations go toward artist fees for this and future events.

Adrian Danon is a Jersey-City based songwriter and performer drawing inspiration from alternative music from the 60s to the present. His music fits in the confines of pop while retaining a dark edge. Admission is $10/pp.
