Just in time for spring, The Ashford and Six26 will debut their respective rooftop bars this Saturday.
The 6,500 square foot space at The Ashford will feature its own kitchen and raw bar.
“The rooftop will be unique to Jersey City and the raw bar will be its centerpiece,” co-owner Jeff Lam told Jersey City Upfront back in April.
The raw bar will offer fresh lobster, crab legs, shrimp cocktail, and raw oysters, says Lam.
The rooftop will be decorated with trees, murals, and feature its own 60-foot bar. Diners will be able to sit in booths, at the bar, or at the wrap-around veranda.
The Ashford will mark the debut of its rooftop with a celebration at 3pm this Saturday, March 23.
Meanwhile, sister bar Six26 will open its rooftop at 3pm on the same day. Tickets for the Six26 opening party are $10/pp. Six26’s brunch menu will offer everything from avocado toast to chocolate chip banana pancakes. You can check out Six26’s full menu here.
