The Oak on Pine is undergoing a few changes.
The Bergen Lafayette-based restaurant is now Sam AM on Pine. (It’s named after owner Sam Kirk’s downtown Jersey City cafe, Sam AM). As part of the name change, Sam AM’s brunch menu is now available at the Bergen Lafayette location.
The Sam AM brunch menu (PDF) includes dishes like Classic French Toast, Chicken & Waffles, Avocado Toast, and a vegetarian friendly Yam-Wich sandwich.
Meanwhile, Sam AM on Pine’s dinner menu (PDF) will remain similar to The Oak’s. It’ll feature entrees like the Salted Honey Buttermilk Fried Chicken, the Darke Pines Burger (made in collaboration with downtown’s Dark Pines butcher shop), and the Crawfish Mac & Cheese.
Sam AM on Pine will be open Wednesdays through Sundays for brunch and Wednesdays through Saturdays for dinner.
