If vacationing in New England is not an option this summer, The Lobster Garage Jersey City is here to save the day. The newly opened eatery is a garage-turned-seafood-shack located at 199 Washington Street. It’s an extension of Paulus Hook’s The Lighthorse Tavern.
The menu features summer classics like lobster rolls, New England clam chowder, lobster bisque, steamed mussels, and more. Non-seafood eaters shouldn’t worry too much though since The Lobster Garage has a few non-seafood options such as a fried chicken sandwich, vegan burger, and salads.
- Where to eat al fresco: Jersey City outdoor dining
- Now open: Our Breads and Pies
In terms of pricing, a lobster roll will set you back $21, whereas a bowl of New England clam chowder costs $11. The Lobster Garage also offers Fishers Island oysters at $3 per oyster.
The Lobster Garage Jersey City is currently offering pickup/takeout or outdoor dining. (You’ll want to arrive early or off-hours as the outdoor tables were all taken the times we went). You can check out their full menu below.
Who ever covers up part of a menu picture with a rock? 😉
