From Dottie’s to No Forks Given, crispy chicken sandwiches are all the rage right now. If you’ve got room more (and who doesn’t), a new pop-up just landed in Jersey City. The House of Hot Chicken is now operating as a ghost kitchen in Jersey City, per Hoboken Hungry.
The delivery-only virtual kitchen offers a streamlined menu with its signature crispy chicken sandwich ($15), chicken tenders ($13), and mac-and-cheese ($8) as the main entrees. Diners can choose their heat level from “naked” to “extra hot,” which is described as “laugh now, cry later.”
So far the virtual eatery appears to have received near-perfect reviews on both GrubHub and Yelp. The House of Hot Chicken is available Fridays from 4pm to 9:30pm and weekends from 11am to 9:30pm. They’re only here for a limited time and currently making deliveries to Jersey City, Hoboken, and Weehawken. According to the website, a pickup option is currently in the works from their 580 Montgomery location.
