At long last there is a wine bar in Jersey City. (We miss you Third & Vine!) Located at 351 Palisade Avenue, The Alps is a new natural wine bar and restaurant named after a former eatery of the same name that was once located in McGinley Square at 725 Bergen Avenue. The team behind Riverview Wine and Pet Shop JC soft opened the new hangout this past week.
Sourcing the wine for The Alps is Chris Leo, formerly of PS Wine Bar and co-owner of Riverview Wine (43 Bowers). The Alps describes itself as a bar with a kitchen where you can get the best spirits, beer, and farmer made wine that the team can source.
The bar soft opened last week and will reopen again this week on Valentine’s Day. You can keep an eye on their website for their official food and drinks menu.
