While most new rentals in Jersey City tend to focus on downtown or parts of Bergen-Lafayette — The Agnes is a new boutique building in the city’s West Side neighborhood.
Located at 132 Yale Avenue, the five-story building is bringing 145 rentals to the area. Monthly rents at The Agnes start at $1,480 with current incentives that include up to four months of free rent.
Despite being one of the city’s more affordable luxury rentals, The Agnes offers all of the premium perks you’d come to expect from a new building. That includes stainless-steel appliances, quartz countertops, in-unit washer/dryers, and oak plank flooring. Select homes also include dens that can be turned into makeshift home offices. A unique feature at The Agnes is the ability to customize a unit’s contemporary living space with paint colors chosen by the design team (thanks to a partnership with Backdrop).
In terms of amenities, The Agnes boasts over 10,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor amenities. Highlights include an outdoor pool, public/private workspaces, state-of-the-art fitness center, and a dog run/dog wash.
Street-level retail space will include a health-focused cafe called The Nell, which will feature local coffee roaster Afficianado Roasters.
