Thanksgiving is just a few days away and if you’ve yet to buy a turkey, fear not because this holiday there will be a variety of restaurants and services offering Thanksgiving day dinners and desserts in the downtown area. If you’re interested in any, it’s strongly recommended that you call ahead for reservations or order before any deadlines.
Finally, Eater has a great list of 21 restaurants that will be open in New York City on Thanksgiving day including Bubby’s, The Dutch, and The Little Owl.
Open for Dinner
The Hudson Grille: The recently renovated Hudson Grille restaurant (located at the DoubleTree by Hilton) will offer a 3-course prix fixe dinner on Thanksgiving day for $39.95 per person. Reservations are required (e-mail: EWRWT_Sales@hilton.com) or you can call 201-499-2580. Dinner seatings will begin as early as 2pm and the last seating is at 8pm. Liberty House Restaurant: The Liberty House will be open from 1pm to 6pm and offer a 3-course prix fixe menu. Price is $58 for adults and $28 per child. For reservations, call 201.395.0300.
Liberty Prime Steakhouse: Liberty Prime Steakhouse is offering a 3-course dinner for $55 per person. The price includes a first course, main course, trimmings, dessert, and all soft drinks, coffee, tea, and hot cider.
South House: Celebrate Thanksgiving southern style with dinner at South House. The restaurant will offer separate family style and pre fixe menus with prices that start at $40 and $35 per person, respectively. Reservations are required.
Online Orders
Anthony David’s: From turkey to dessert, Hoboken’s Anthony David’s can cater your entire Thanksgiving dinner so you don’t have to cook a single entree. Orders can be placed as late as the morning of November 23 for pick up on Thanksgiving morning.
Bucket & Bay Gelato / Choc-O-Pain: Bucket & Bay and Choc-O-Pain have teamed up to offer the ultimate dessert: A 9″ French tart with a pint (or two) of Bucket & Bay Gelato. The last day to order is Sunday, November 20 for delivery or pickup on Wednesday, November 23.
But-A-Cake: Friday is the last day to place online orders at But-A-Cake’s online bake shop. This includes orders of But-A-Cake’s new dessert jars and signature pound cake.
Fresh Direct: Don’t have time to pick up your turkey dinner? Fresh Direct will bring it to your front door. Dinners start at $89 (four people) to $219 (twelve people). Orders must be placed by November 21 for delivery on Thanksgiving day.
Hamilton Pork: The restaurant may be closed on Thanksgiving day, but you have until Monday, November 21 to order a whole smoked turkey for $99.
Milk Sugar Love: Ice cream cakes, macarons, and ice cream pints are all available for online order at Milk Sugar Love. Order by 9pm on Sunday for pickup on Wednesday by 6pm.
Morton Williams: The massive supermarket is ready to cater your Thanksgiving dinner. Orders must be placed by November 21 for pick up on Thanksgiving morning. You can fill out an order form here (PDF).
