Cafe Madelaine is a new French cafe located on the corner of Coles and Second Street.
Outdoor seating wraps around the entire facade of the cafe, while inside the spacious cafe is adorned with photos, portraits, and mementos from France. It has a very comforting and unpretentious atmosphere, much like the staff and owner who checked in on us periodically during our visit.
Breakfast items ($3 to $15) include pancakes, avocado toast, organic oatmeal, and of course croissants, whereas lunch ($8 to $14) ranges from homemade quiches to salads and sandwiches.
Coffee (hot or cold) ranges from $1.90 for a small drip coffee to $5.50 for a large iced matcha latte.
Cafe Madelaine’s food menu will rotate on a weekly basis. (Personally, I’d love them to do BYOB nights because it does have a restaurant-like vibe).
For now, they will open at 7:30am with plans to close in the evening (at an unspecified time).
