Popular taco spot Tacombi and international hot pot chain HaiDiLao are coming to 124 Bay Street, reports NJ.com. 124 Bay Street (aka Warren at Bay) is a Kushner and KABR Group project. The two companies are teaming up to revitalize the former warehouse, which will become a commercial and retail center.

Tacombi is a popular taco chain that got its start by slinging tacos from a Volkswagen trailer in Mexico back in 2005. The taquería opened a few locations in Mexico’s Playa del Carmen before making the jump to New York City in 2010. Since then, Tacombi has expanded throughout New York with locations in the Upper West Side, Williamsburg, Flatiron, and the Financial District.

The Mexican eatery offers a variety of tacos, including al pastor, seared fish, and carne asada. There are even some meat-free options such as the black bean and sweet potato taco and the avocado tostada.

Meanwhile, HaiDiLao has also signed on as a tenant at 124 Bay. Eater visited their Flushing location and enjoyed their broths and food. (They also raved about the service, which goes above and beyond the service you’d find from other hot pot spots).

In addition to Tacombi and HaiDiLao, 124 Bay Street will also include 112,630 square feet of loft style office space, a 10,000-square-foot rooftop deck, and more than 33,000 square feet of ground floor retail space. There will also be dedicated space to display the works of local artists. Construction is expected to begin this spring.
