Smorgasburg Jersey City is back for another season of weekend eats. The outdoor food market is held at its new location at Harborside Plaza and Hudson Street. (It’s in the parking lot located behind Smorgasbar).
Last summer, Smorgasburg held its first ever New Jersey market in Jersey City. The food market — which originated in Williamsburg, Brooklyn — is now a part of the massive Harborside JC makeover returning to the Jersey City waterfront every Saturday through October 2022.
Smorgasburg + Uber Eats
New for 2022, Smorgasburg has teamed up with Uber Eats. Attendees can now place their food order via the popular food delivery platform. Download the Uber Eats app, enter “Smorgasburg” as your address, and then choose the vendor you’d like to order from. You’ll receive a notification when it’s time to pick up from the vendor.
Alternatively, you can type “Smorgasburg” into the Uber Eats app and then place your order for delivery like you would with any Uber Eats restaurant/vendor. As a bonus, pickup and delivery customers can enter code “SMORGASBURG” for $5 off on any order of $15 or more (one time per user only).

Smorgasbar Jersey City now open every day
Smorgasbar has also returned to the Jersey City waterfront. The outdoor bar is located in the former Lutze space at 3 Second Street. Smorgasbar Jersey City offers wine, cocktails, and local brews. Smorgasbar is dog friendly and kid friendly. Their 2022 hours are posted on their website, but remember, they’re reliant on weather conditions.
- Monday – Thursday: 3pm till 10pm
- Friday: 3pm till 12am
- Saturday: 11am till 11pm
- Sunday: 12pm till 10pm
Smorgasburg Jersey City date, time, and location
The Smorgasburg Jersey City market will operate every Saturday rain or shine. The market will open at 11am and wrap up by 6pm. Smorgasburg posted the following IG Story highlighting their new location for 2022.
There’s no entry/admission fee. After purchasing your food, you can enjoy your food anywhere. Mack-Cali has also created a Harborside pedestrian plaza on Hudson Street, so you’ll be able to sit and eat outside of the market.
I wish Vaquero Elotes would come back. Seems the JC Smorgasburg is pairing down due to Williamsburg being open.
Yeah, there were far fewer vendors on 7/3 than usual. Maybe because of the holiday weekend or due to the weather. Hopefully next wkd it’ll be busier.
