Craft beer isn’t the only thing made in Jersey City. Have A Night reports that Corgi Spirits has started construction on a new distillery to be located just west of Liberty State Park. The small-batch distillery — which is named after the Welsh breed of dog — will provide gin and vokda at first, and later expand to whiskeys and liqueurs.
There will be tours, a tasting room, and a gift shop within the new space. Even better, a portion of profits from every bottle of Corgi that is sold will be donated to a local dog adoption agency in the Jersey City area. Now that’s a drink anyone can get behind.
Corgi Spirits is expected to open in early 2017. —Have A Night, Corgi Spirits

How about donations be made to the Pembroke Welsh Corgi Club of the Garden State rescue. Looking forward to bringing some Corgis down for a visit.
