To celebrate the opening of its new downtown restaurant at 30 Montgomery, DC-based Cava will offer free lunch from 12pm to 2pm in exchange for a small donation to their non-profit partner, Grow to Learn.
If you’ve never eaten at Cava, the fast-casual restaurant specializes in delicious and healthy Mediterranean eats. They offer a mix of seasonal soups, salads, pitas, and fresh juices. You can customize most of their dishes (either in person or via the Cava app) with traditional Mediterranean ingredients like lamb, falafel, green harissa, and roasted red hummus, to name a few options.
A few Cava products — such as their hummus, harissa, and feta — are also sold at select Whole Foods stores.
Cava will officially open for business on Thursday.
