From the Tribeca Film Festival to Taste of Battery Park, spring has sprung in New York City and for Jersey City and Hoboken residents there’s no better commute into neighboring Manhattan than a quick ride on NY Waterway.

Ferries operating from Harborside, Paulus Hook, and the Hoboken/NJ Transit Terminal can take you to Manhattan’s West 39th Street or Brookfield Place/Battery Park in as little as six minutes.

Even better, NY Waterway recently lowered fares into New York with prices ranging from $5 to $6 per trip. (Kids 5 and under ride free when accompanied by an adult).

At the West 39th Street terminal, ferry riders can transfer to free NY Waterway buses, which serve midtown and downtown Manhattan.

In anticipation of New York’s spring festivals, street fairs, and outdoor markets, NY Waterway has also added extra weekend service with ferries operating every 20 minutes between 9:54am and 8:48pm from the Hoboken, Harborside, and Paulus Hook terminals.

Jersey residents who want to avoid the congested tunnels can also take advantage of Harborside’s special $5/day weekend parking rate, which is available to NY Waterway customers only. The staffed parking lot is located at 195 Hudson Street, adjacent to the Harborside ferry slip.

So whether you’re heading to a street fair, film fest, or simply searching for new brunch spots — NY Waterway is your best choice for a scenic, stress-free ride into and out of New York.
