Just in time for the weekend, four more restaurants have reopened — or will reopen soon — in Jersey City.
On Saturday, May 16, Franklin Social will reopen with a new delivery and curbside dinner menu. (Unfortunately, that means Benny’s Sandwich Pop-Up will close). Franklin Social will offer cocktail kits, craft beer bottles/cans, and growler refills. They will also continue to offer groceries/meat/produce via their pop-up market. The restaurant will open Mondays through Fridays from 4pm to 8pm and weekends from 12pm to 8pm.

Located at 237 Pavonia Avenue in Hamilton Park, Rumba Cubana is now open daily from 11am to 8pm. The restaurant specializes in classic Cuban/Caribbean eats with generous, flavorful entrees at affordable prices. The restaurant is open for takeout or delivery via UberEats.
Over in the Village, French bistro Madame Claude Bis is finally reopening for takeout only. Located at 390 Fourth Street, the restaurant is serving a limited menu with wine bottles and beer.
For more Cuban eats, Hard Grove has reopened at 286 First Street. (They’ve hand-written their entire menu outside the restaurant). In addition to prepared food, Hard Grove is also offering a mini groceries section with paper towels, produce, bread, and milk for sale.
Meanwhile, Koro Koro Rice Ball Cafe reopened this past Wednesday at 538 Jersey Avenue. They’re open Wednesday through Sunday from 12pm to 7pm. You can order in-store, preorder online for pickup, or have your food delivered.
