Piggyback Bar makes summer menu tweaks
Piggyback Bar is making a few summer tweaks to its menu. The Harborside restaurant recently added a few new entrees including: Asian Corndog (an Allen Brothers steak hot dog dipped in jalapeño corn batter), Korean Rice Cake Mac & Cheese (seared Korean rice cakes smothered with kimchee shio koji cream sauce), and Green Curry Scallops with Corn and Summer Peas. Also ideal for summer is the Calamansi Custard Tart (pictured; not a new item), which uses chef Leah Cohen’s favorite fruit as its base — the calamansi. (We tried the tart — it’s light, not too tangy, and a refreshing option when you don’t want a heavy dessert).
