The New York Times recently crossed the Hudson as it followed the apartment-hunting adventures of Nastasya Tsultsumova, a 22-year old executive assistant with a $1,000/month budget and the strong desire to live in Jersey City. Nastasya lived in Morris Township, NJ, and after landing a job at a bank along the Jersey City waterfront, Nastasya broadened her search to Jersey City. She looked at apartments in The Gotham (Warren Street) and The Lincoln (Hamilton Park) before opting for an apartment in Newport’s The Atlantic. —NYT
