LeFrak’s new luxury rental, the Ellipse, is 60 percent leased.
Leasing at the building commenced in April and residents began moving into the 42-story tower last week.
Designed by Arquitectonica, the oval-shaped tower’s location — at the end of 25 Park Lane South — gives it an edge over other super luxury buildings because its New York views are completely unblocked.
But the views are just part of the picture. When you’re paying $2,600/month for a studio, you can expect some unique amenities, of which the Ellipse has many, including a two-level lobby, co-working space, fully equipped children’s playroom, outdoor pool, and a gym that overlooks the Manhattan skyline. (Take that, Equinox!)
The building, which has units that range from studios to four-bedroom penthouses, was also featured in the New York Times, which has never hurt anyone before.
