A new vegan-friendly cafe is opening at 336 Second Street. The storefront, which was formerly occupied by Juice Basin, will now serve as the downtown’s second Power Plant Cafe. The news was originally shared on Power Plant’s Instagram page.
Power Plant Cafe is a health-focused cafe serving protein shakes, protein bars, coffee by The Grind, and plant-based meals by Sam Boyce. The first Power Plant Cafe opened at 60 Columbus, next to Base Gym. Meanwhile, a Power Plant Kitchen is slated to open later this fall at 361 Newark Avenue.
