A new luxury tower is about to kick-off leasing in downtown Jersey City.
235 Grand is a 46-story building that will bring 549 new rentals to the neighborhood. Developed by KRE Group and Ironstate Development, the tower features a mix of studio, 1-bedroom, and 2-bedroom residences.
Located on Grove and Grand, the new development sits just a few blocks away from the Grove street PATH station and two Light Rail stations.
The building is designed by HLW International, with interiors from Bentel & Bentel. The latter is renown for notable restaurant projects like Hoboken’s Halifax and Le Bernadin in New York.
Residents will have access to a diverse mix of amenities including a 24-hour concierge, state-of-the-art fitness center, barre/yoga studio, resident lounge, and numerous co-working spaces.
In addition, 235 Grand will feature an amenity terrace with a swimming pool, outdoor movie area, fire pit, and barbecue grills. The building will also offer bicycle storage, a garage, and a dog run.
As part of the development, KRE and Ironstate will add public green space to the neighborhood. Grove Street will expand one block south to intersect at Sussex Street where the public will enjoy a new park with a children’s play area. 235 Grand will also include 1,705 square feet of street-level retail space.
Monthly rents at the new tower range from $2,060 for studios to $3,680 for two-bedroom units.
Occupancy at 235 Grand is on target for September. It’s one of a handful of new projects opening soon in downtown Jersey City.
