Over 3,000 runners participated in the 2018 Ruth’s Chris Newport Half Marathon this past weekend.
Whereas runners from Pennsylvania and Japan took the top spots last year, this year New Jersey-based runners dominated the race. On the men’s side, Kyle Price of New Brunswick, NJ, finished first with a time of 1:12:53. Meanwhile, on the women’s side, Brianna Feerst of Brick, NJ, came in first with a time of 1:25:00. Scott Savage was the top-performing Jersey City-based runner with a time of 1:21:12.89.
Proceeds from the race will be donated to Jersey City Medical Center, RWJ Barnabas Health. You can check out the full race results here.
