2: Mayor Steven Fulop tweeted about a COVID-19 outbreak in one of Jersey City’s nursing homes. Although the home wasn’t mentioned by name, the mayor states that healthy residents will be moved to local hotels. Meanwhile, NJ.com reports about Alaris Health at Hamilton Park and how administrators allegedly failed to inform staff of residents who had tested positive for coronavirus until weeks later, which likely led to more COVID-19 infections at the nursing home.
