Mack-Cali recently unveiled a new public park at 185 Hudson Street (between Jersey City Urby and the Harborside 5 office complex).
The park brings three separate spaces to the waterfront neighborhood — a large dog run, a small dog run, and a children’s playground.
“We’re thrilled to have had the opportunity to add another beautiful public green space to the Harborside neighborhood that will benefit the community for years to come,” said Michael J. DeMarco, Chief Executive Officer of Mack-Cali.
The new park is the latest milestone in Mack-Cali’s $75-million transformation of Harborside into a vibrant and cultural district.
The dog runs feature a ramp, a small dog tunnel, and other obstacle courses for dogs to get their daily zoomies in. The park also has a few oversized benches for pup parents to relax while their four-legged friends get their daily exercise.
The park was officially unveiled last week and is open to the public 24/7.

This is getting a lot of use. Great job! I love that they used real grass and made them much bigger than the usual dog “runs” in downtown JC. The other dog parks downtown (Van Vorst Park, Hamilton Park, 1st St by The One) tend to be miserably small.
Yes, I agree! Both the large run and even the small run are nice and spacious.
