Jersey City adds new CitiBike station near Audubon Park
A new CitiBike Jersey City station was recently installed near Audubon Park at Bergen Avenue between Wegman and Stegman. The city plans to install its 53rd station on MLK Drive as early as this week, according to a tweet by Mayor Fulop. As part of the new Jersey City and Hoboken Citi Bike share program, Jersey City will receive 15 new stations over the course of two years with stations in Greenville, West Side, and the Heights taking priority over other sections of the city.
La Festa Italiana returns this August
After last year’s cancellation, La Festa Italiana has confirmed via social media that it’ll be back for 2021. The street festival will run from Wednesday, August 11 through Sunday, August 15. La Festa Italiana began in 1902 as a street festival in honor of Our Lady of the Assumption and St. Rocco. Years later, thousands of parishioners (and non-parishioners) from Holy Rosary Church in downtown Jersey City’s Village neighborhood are still celebrating. The 5-night food, crafts, and music fest typically runs from 5pm till 11pm.
Ferris Triangle Park reopens today in Greenville
City officials will unveil the newly renovated Ferris Triangle Park today (June 30) at 1pm. The park underwent a $500,000 renovation that was funded by the Jersey City Open Space Trust Fund. The park now features an ADA compliant playground area, splash pad, and other upgrades. Mayor Steven Fulop will attend the ribbon cutting and pizza/refreshments will be served. The park is located on the corner of Rose and Old Bergen Road.

Second tower in The Vantage Collection now leasing from low-$2,000s
The second tower in The Vantage Collection has officially started leasing. The 45-story waterfront tower brings 452 luxury apartments to the neighborhood. Located at 1 Park Avenue in Liberty Harbor North, the tower features studio, one-, and two-bedroom residences. Rents start from the low-$2,000s with leasing incentives. The building also features 6,300 square feet of retail space.
