New Citi Bike stations coming to Greenville, West Side, and the Heights
The Citi Bike Jersey City program is about to expand. Jersey City and Hoboken are set to approve a joint contract with Lyft that will make Citi Bike the official bike share service for both cities, reports NJ.com. As part of the agreement, Jersey City will pay $400,000 to Lyft to operate the system and Hoboken will pay the remaining $200,000. In addition, Jersey City will get two new bike stations added in Greenville. The city will also receive an additional 15 stations over the course of two years with stations in Greenville, West Side, and the Heights taking priority.
Busy Bee Organics opens at Dvora 175
Local small business Busy Bee Organics has opened a new storefront in downtown Jersey City. The healthy meal prep service just opened a new cafe at luxury rental Dvora 175, located at 175 Second Street. This is Busy Bee Organics’ second storefront and joins their current location in the Heights at 451 Palisade Avenue. Busy Bee is known for their healthy detox diets and their natural/organic meals, which range from black bean tacos to their s’mores hot cocoa.
New cafe opening in Bergen-Lafayette
Cafe Lafayette is expected to open soon at 74 Maple Street in Bergen-Lafayette. The new cafe will be located on the ground level of BeLa, an 8-story luxury rental that opened last summer. You can follow Cafe Lafayette via their Instagram page for updates.
