The Jersey City Pedestrian Plaza has a new bubble tea shop. Gong Cha has now opened its new outpost at 183 Newark Avenue, in the former Jersey City Wireless shop (next to Helen’s Pizza).
This is Gong Cha’s second location in Jersey City. In 2022, the first Gong Cha Jersey City storefront opened in the third floor food court at Newport Centre Mall. Gong Cha is a Taiwanese bubble tea shop offering a wide variety of teas ranging from milk foam teas to tea slushes and lattes. They also have a “creative” series of teas that includes lychee oolong, lemon wintermelon basil seeds, and honey green tea.
