**Early registration is open for the Newport 10k (Saturday, May 6) and Newport Half Marathon (Sunday, September 17). The race fee for the 10k is $30, whereas the price for the Half Marathon is $47. You can save $5 if you register for both. Pricing for the 10k goes up after April 6. [I ran the Half last year and the course was great and well organized].
