**It’s been open for less than a year, but the popular Burger Eatery on Erie and First Street is already looking to expand. **New Jersey has seen its fair share of bridge proposals, but now a Delaware-based consultant is proposing a super bridge that would connect Weehawken with Long Island City. The Empire State Gateway would call for two side-by-side bridges cutting through 38th and 39th Streets in New York. Each would be a triple-decker suspension bridge carrying trains, buses, and a light rail. A top level would allow cyclists and pedestrians to cross. The project would cost $20 billion, but the bridge’s creator — Scott R. Spencer — claims revenue sources could include tolls, NJ Transit/Amtrak fees, and revenue from cell phone, TV, and radio antennas. —Curbed
