**A 57-mile suspended tram system has been proposed as a means to connect New York and New Jersey. The so-called Halo Line would “pass over several bodies of water by running along existing infrastructure, including the George Washington, Bayonne, and Verrazano bridges. The tram’s construction would be less disruptive than subway expansions and provide a mode of transportation that is operable in the event of widespread flooding.” —Jersey Digs
**A new pro Hillary billboard has surfaced by the Holland Tunnel. The Polish-American artist who created the billboard, Olek, is the same artist who covered the Wall Street Bull in pink back in 2010. The New Yorker has the story on Olek’s “gift to Hillary.” —The New Yorker
**The Jersey City Ballroom is offering group tango classes every Monday night in November. Classes start at 7pm and no partner is required. —JC Ballroom
**A new deal app called Food for All will let customers buy food that restaurants didn’t sell at the end of each business day. Rather than going to waste, the unsold food entrees will be offered via the app at a 50% to 80% discount from their regular prices. The app is currently in Kickstarter mode and could debut (in Boston and New York) as early as summer of 2017. —Grub Street
