Get ready for more PATH closures.

Weekend service on the WTC PATH line will be temporarily suspended sometime in 2019, reports NJ.com. During these weekend closures, the Port Authority will replace rails and equipment damaged by 2012’s Hurricane Sandy.

PA officials haven’t finalized details yet, nor have they publicly announced their plans to accommodate affected PATH riders. This past summer, 2-trip MetroCards were given to commuters during the 33rd Street Train closure, which just commenced weekend service earlier this month.

In total, seven projects are planned for the coming year, although it’s not clear if all projects will require service interruptions.

On the positive side, all stations will soon get countdown clocks informing riders of train arrivals. New York stations are also now offering AT&T and T-Mobile cellular service.

And if you rely on the Holland, Lincoln, or George Washington Bridge to get to New York, the PA has announced that no toll increases are planned for 2019.
