Just days after getting a fresh new coat of paint, new signage is up for Medly Pharmacy which is moving into the old Downtown Hardware space at 152 Newark Avenue.
Medly Pharmacy describes itself as a full-service “digital pharmacy” offering free same-day delivery of all types of medications. Launched in 2017 by owners Marg and Sahaj Patel, the pharmacy lets customers schedule their deliveries, consult with pharmacists, and manage their prescriptions directly from Medly’s mobile app. (Of course, you can also do this in person).

New customers can have their doctor send their prescriptions to Medly, upload a photo of their prescription to the Medly app, or drop off a physical copy in person. Medly will then keep track of your refill dates and ensure you never miss a delivery. The pharmacy accepts all major insurances as well as Medicaid and Medicare.
Medly Pharmacy currently has locations in Brooklyn, Miami, Baltimore, and Philadelphia. Here in Jersey City it joins Fenny Pharmacy, Palace Drugs, Duane Reade, and the forthcoming Galaxy Pharmacy near Ani Ramen.
