Summer officially arrives on Saturday and with it comes the inaugural McGinley Square Pedestrian Plaza. The pop-up pedestrian plaza will stretch from Duncan Avenue to Reed Street along Bergen Avenue.
Like its downtown counterpart, the McGinley Square Pedestrian Plaza will offer plenty of outdoor dining options with food from Astor Bar & Grill, ITA Italian Kitchen (two of ITA’s excellent pizzas are pictured above), Crema, Carvao BBQ, and newly opened Champs Chics & Waffles. There will also be live music and other events scheduled throughout the weekend.
Masks are mandatory for the event and of course social distancing guidelines will be in full effect. Organized by the McGinley Square SID, the pop-up plaza will run from 12pm through 6pm on Saturday and Sunday.
