Hot on the heels of launching Felina Steak, Landmark Hospitality is debuting yet another new restaurant in Jersey City. Maddy Rose at Liberty House is a new Mediterranean restaurant that replaces the Liberty House Restaurant at 76 Audrey Zapp Drive. The new restaurant opened Wednesday (August 2) and is currently serving brunch and dinner.
Maddy Rose is inspired by Maddy Cretella, Director of Engagement and Marketing at Landmark Hospitality and daughter of co-founders Frank and Jeanne Cretella. The new restaurant features indoor and outdoor spaces along with a re-imagined dining room, upper/lower patios, two bars, a private dining gallery, outdoor cabanas, and a garden area.
The new coastal-inspired menu at Maddy Rose is curated by chef Anthony Bucco. It features seasonal small plates and sharable dishes like the Mediterranean mezze, Spanish octopus, and seafood risotto. There are also plenty of steak options, including a 12-ounce ribeye and tomahawk for two. Those looking for meatless options can choose between dishes like the golden grain harvest bowl or the heirloom tomato salad.
No restaurant is complete without a proper cocktail menu and Maddy Rose offers nine signature cocktails that you can enjoy at any of the restaurant’s two, newly designed bars.
Maddy Rose is open Wednesdays through Sundays from 12pm to 3pm for lunch. Dinner is available Wednesdays through Thursdays from 5pm to 10pm, Fridays through Saturdays from 5pm to 11pm, and Sundays from 5pm to 9pm. Reservations can be made via the Maddy Rose website or OpenTable.
