A new luxury rental is getting ready to launch this summer along the Newport waterfront. LeFrak’s 41-story Ellipse has been under construction since late 2015 (you can check out some early photos here and here) and plans to begin leasing in April.
Rents at the 381-unit luxury building will begin at $2,600 and top out at $5,300 for everything from studios to 3-bedroom apartments. (Pricing on 4-bedroom penthouse suites has not be revealed).
The Ellipse was designed by Miami-based firm Arquitectonica. It’s the studio’s first project in Jersey City. Design-wise, the building has a unique elliptical shape, which should give more units sweeping views of New York. It also helps that it stands at the very edge of the Newport marina.
Ellipse will include premium amenities like an outdoor pool deck, barbecue area, state-of-the-art fitness center, multi-purpose lounge, children’s playroom, game room, co-working space, 24-hour doorman, and parking garage.
Leasing at the Ellipse starts in April with occupancy to begin this summer. You can check out the Ellipse’s teaser website here.
