La Festa Italiana is a summer block party packed with food, live music, and drinks. Holy Rosary Church’s annual event kicks off this Wednesday, August 7. Located on Sixth Street between Brunswick and Monmouth, the festival began in 1902 as a street fair in honor of Our Lady of the Assumption and St. Rocco.
Years later, the religious event has grown into a massive 5-night Italian street festival celebrating local local restaurants, vendors, musicians, and more. The Village street fair runs from 5pm to 11pm through Sunday, August 11.
A live band will perform each night of the festival. The lineup includes:
