There aren’t many 24/7 eateries in Jersey City, but La Brujeria is hoping to change that. Located at 590 Grand, the new restaurant is now in soft open mode and serving a wide variety of Mexican dishes.
La Brujeria’s sprawling menu offers everything from your typical burritos and quesadillas to slightly harder to find mixiotes and entomatadas. The latter are fried tortillas bathed in tomato sauce and filled with cream, queso fresco, avocado, and your choice of filling.

Tacos are a staple at any Mexican eatery and La Brujeria offers 20 different types of tacos. There are birria tacos (with a consome for dipping) as well as pork belly chicharron tacos and cochinita pibil tacos. Cochinita pibil is a slow-roasted pork dish from the Yucatan Peninsula consisting of pulled pork shoulder marinated and braised in achiote paste and citrus juice.
Vegetarians also have plenty of options ranging from cauliflower tacos to potato and japapeño burritos.
La Brujeria Jersey City is open 24/7 and plans on offering 24/7 delivery. However, you’ll want to give them a follow on Instagram as they ramp up toward a 24/7 schedule.
