After closing its downtown shop for repairs, Koro Koro’s Jersey City storefront is once again open for business.
To celebrate their reopening, the cafe will be handing out free swag this Saturday, consisting of Koro Koro drawstring bags and Japanese candy (while supplies last).
Koro Koro specializes in Japanese-style rice balls — onigiri — stuffed with a wide variety of cooked fillings such as Miso Beef, Spicy Salmon, Indian, Korean BBQ Chicken, and Cochinita Pibil. Koro Koro’s entire menu is gluten free and they also offer vegetarian and vegan options, in addition to soups, salads, beverages, and dessert. Best of all — practically everything on the menu is priced at or under $5.
Koro Koro is located at 538 Jersey Avenue between Newark Avenue and Columbus Drive.
