Get ready for sizzling meats and all the banchan you can eat.
K-Pot Hot Pot & Barbecue is opening at 414 Grand Street in the Old Colony Square (h/t JC Reddit). The restaurant — which has locations in New Jersey and Maryland — offers a mix of Korean cuisine with a variety of hot pot options.
Like most Korean barbecue spots, K-Pot diners pick their meats and cook them on the restaurant’s tabletop grills. Staples like bulgogi, brisket, and short ribs are all accounted for in their menu.
Meanwhile, the other half of K-Pot’s menu is dedicated to hot pot. Diners can pick their own soup base and pair it with their choice of meat, seafood, veggies, and noodles.
The restaurant offers all-you-can-eat lunch and dinner options with prices that range from $15.99 (lunch) to $25.99 (weekend dinner).
Before you get too excited, we contacted K-Pot and were told that it could be a year before the Jersey City location opens. (We seriously hope construction moves along faster than that).
K-Pot currently has locations in East Brunswick, NJ, and Rockville, MD. A location in Philadelphia, PA, is also in the works.
