JSQ Lounge is one of the coolest bars we’ve been to this year and now the laid back cocktail bar is serving weekend brunch with prices that won’t break the bank.
Available weekends from 11am to 4pm, the menu consists of classics like Eggs Benedict and French Toast alongside more adventurous fare like the Waffled Chicken Wing Breakfast. All dishes are priced between $8 to $16 and portions are generous, so come hungry (or hungover).
The Waffled Chicken Wing Breakfast ($11) is a genious take on the classic chicken and waffles. The dish includes two chicken wings that are coated with waffle batter and pressed until golden brown. Each bite combines the crispness of the waffle exterior with the meat from the chicken wing that lies underneath it. It comes with two eggs and home fries. (Or you can just get two waffled wings as a side order for $5).
For a more classic take on brunch, you’ll want to try the Smoked Salmon Benedict ($16). It includes thick-cut slices of smoked salmon served on toasted English muffin bread with hollandaise and home fries. The oaky smoked salmon is the star of the dish and pairs well with the bright hollandaise. It’s served on a thick — but fluffy — slice of English muffin bread sitting in a delicious pool of egg yolk with home fries.
Brunch wouldn’t be complete without some cocktails, and JSQ Lounge’s brunch options include a Bloody Mary, mimosa, screwdriver, and Salty Dog. All cocktails are available for $5.
In addition to brunch, JSQ Lounge is also offering White Claw Wednesdays — where you can order $1.25 White Claws from 6pm till closing. That’s in addition to their everyday happy hour (3pm to 7pm), which includes $1 oysters, half-price wings, and $6 margaritas.
