Jersey City is getting ready to debut its first nighttime food market. Spearheaded by Chilltown Kitchen’s Alysis Vazquez — who will make her Food Network debut next Tuesday — and Silverman’s Perla Nieves, Midnight Market will satiate your hunger with everything from Venezuelan arepas to smoked Korean BBQ.

The event will be held at the Harborside Atrium, which offers unblocked views of New York and is situated just steps away from the Exchange Place PATH station.

Confirmed local food vendors include Baonanas, Taste of Poland, House of Gains, Cholita Paletas, Grandma Downtown, and Me Casa, among others. You’ll also be able to nosh on some unique international food from neighboring vendors like Venezuelan arepas from Newark’s Munchies by Antonio, smoked Korean BBQ from Kimchi Smoke, and crispy rice from New York’s Joon Rice.

Although tickets will be available at the door, you can purchase them online now to bypass any lines. Once inside, all food items will max out at $5 (there will also be multiple $5 drink specials at the cash bar).

Another unique aspect of the market — other than its nighttime setting — is that you’ll have the option to sponsor your favorite vendor(s) via Midnight Market’s Pay It Forward campaign. In a nutshell, Pay It Forward lets you pay (either on your own or amongst a group of friends) a vendor’s $150 vending fee.

As a thank you, you’ll get two tickets to use at any vending booth and a shout out/sign on the vendor’s tent thanking you as their sponsor.

Midnight Market will kick off at 6.30pm on Friday, November 4 and run through midnight.
