We at Have A Night, in partnership with Jersey City Upfront, are spotlighting our favorite beers from our favorite Jersey City bars each month. First up is the Iron Monkey.
The Iron Monkey is known for having some serious craft beer selections. The multi-leveled bar also boasts a beautiful rooftop with amazing views. It’s there that you can order Brasserie d’Achouffe’s La Chouffe — a Belgian Strong Pale Ale with an ABV of 8%. The La Chouffe is an unfiltered blond beer with a nice, fruity taste while being spiced with coriander and a hoppy finish. This strong ale will be served in an 8.5-oz. tulip glass and only at the Iron Monkey’s rooftop, so get there while the weather is still nice.

Meat: Chicken, pork filet, or lamb
Seafood: Monkfish, tuna, or mussels
