ITA Kitchen is an Italian restaurant and pizzeria located at 686 Bergen Avenue in Jersey City’s McGinley Square neighborhood.
The restaurant, which is owned by the same team behind neighboring Carvao BBQ, specializes in homemade pastas and pizza. ITA Jersey City has a menu that features 10 pizzas ranging from a Sausage & Kale pie to an Artichoke pie. The restaurant also offers classic Margherita and Funghi pizzas. They’re among the best pizza in Jersey City we’ve tried.
ITA Kitchen focuses on organic and farm-to-table ingredients with pastas that are made in-house everyday. The pasta menu features lasagna, pappardelle, and squid ink spaghetti. (The restaurant also makes vegan pastas). Other entrees include trout, skirt steak, and chicken. Non-meat eaters will also find some salad options as well as a vegan pizza option.
Prices range from $13 to $17 for pizza and $13 to $18 for pasta entrees. Main courses start from $16 to $26. There’s also a full bar along with snacks and appetizers priced from 8.
ITA Kitchen is open Mondays through Thursdays from 5pm to 10:30pm and Fridays and Saturdays from 5pm to 11pm. You can follow them on Instagram for any menu updates or announcements.

ITA Jersey City is constantly adding seasonal dishes and pizzas to their menu. As of February 2021, they’ve added the Fontina Supreme. The pie consists of Fontina cheese, mozzarella, spinach, sliced heirloom tomato, and garlic bechamel sauce.
