Downtown Jersey City is currently flooded with high-rise/luxury rentals. Down on Grove and Montgomery you have the recently-opened Charles & Co. Walk along Marin Boulevard and you’ll find The Morgan at Provost Square and 70-90 Columbus Towers, both of which should open this fall. Head further down Marin on 110 First Street and you have The One, a 36-story tower with 439-units and amenities like a sky lounge, golf simulator, fire pit, and Xbox/gaming room.
Rents are not cheap (studios start at $2,455, 1BRs at $2,700, and 2BRs at $3,700), but then again The One is aiming to entice Manhattanites priced out of New York, which may find these prices a bargain. Nice image. It is true that there are quite a few luxury apartments from which to choose, which is nice. Who doesn’t want to be able to be close to a park, the train, gym, etcetera?
