A pop-up beauty bar and an in-room fitness/food regimen were the top two ideas created by business travelers as part of the Hyatt Regency’s “It’s Good Not to Be Home” campaign — a campaign that seeks to make hotel stays a better experience for business travelers.

To make the two winning ideas a reality, the Hyatt Regency sought the help of celebrity trainer Gunnar Peterson, James Beard Award-winning pastry chef Dominique Ansel, fashion designer Cynthia Rowley, and tech mogul Randi Zuckerberg.

The foursome presented their interpretations of the winning ideas in Jersey City last week. The demos involved an in-room workout and meal plan and a beauty bar for men/women. These innovations, dreamed up by business travelers, will be used for inspiration for future Hyatt Regency experiences and amenities.
