Journal Square has plenty of good eats, but if you’re craving something a little more health-focused (sorry, Jollibee) Hummus Republic is now open at 2 Journal Square Plaza. (They opened back in March).
Located in the space formerly occupied by BurgerIM, Hummus Republic is offering food that stems from the Mediterranean diet. The menu lets diners create their own bowl, pita, or wrap choosing from a wide selection of proteins including Moroccan steak, mushroom, shwarma, lemon chicken, or falafel, to name a few options. You can also get an earth burger (vegan falafel burger) served with sweet potato fries or hummus with pita chips.
