Hudson Hound Jersey CityHudson Hound is bringing some Irish-American flare to Jersey City. The New York-based restaurant is now open in the former Talde space at 8 Erie Street, as originally reported by Jersey Digs in July.

Hudson Hound’s JC menu closely mirrors its NYC menu featuring dishes like shepherd’s pie, flat iron steak, and of course — fish & chips. Diners can even order a whole loaf of homemade Irish soda bread to go ($12). If you’re looking for more traditional pub fare, the bar menu offers everyday dishes like wings, empanadas, and kobe beef franks.

Craft beers are also widely available with everything from Guinness to White Claw on hand. For brunch, Hudson Hound is offering a full Irish breakfast. The calorific meal consists of two eggs, Irish bacon, sausage, black & white pudding, baked beans, and an Irish whole wheat bread.

The team behind Hudson Hound also owns Trinity Place, the cavernous bank-turned-restaurant located in New York’s Financial District. Hudson Hound Jersey City is currently offering indoor and outdoor dining. Meanwhile, Hudson Hound’s West Village outpost, located at 575 Hudson Street, is has reopened in New York.
