Popular chicken wing eatery Hoots Wings is now open in Jersey City. The fast casual eatery opened this week at 525 Washington Boulevard. They’re adjacent to Japan’s Kura Sushi, which is also coming to Newport in spring of 2022.
Hoots Wings — which is Hooters’ fast-casual spin-off — specializes in cooked to order chicken wings. The eatery offers five cooking options (breaded, smoked, naked, boneless, or roasted) and 14 different sauces and dry rubs. In addition to wings, Hoots Wings’ menu also offers tenders, chicken sandwiches, shrimp, snow crab legs, and salads. Side options include waffle fries, tots, and mozzarella sticks.
Hoots Wings Jersey City is operated by Phillip Moran, a 40-year restaurant industry veteran with 37 years spent with Hooters. Moran has owned and operated Hooters restaurants on the East Coast for 21 years.
Hoots Wings is the latest eatery to open in Jersey City. The new restaurant joins the likes of Los Cuernos, Chef Tan, and Moge Tea.
